UN Video brings you the latest content on the work of the United Nations and its agencies. From peacekeeping missions and humanitarian crises to international events and summits, we tell stories that inform and inspire audiences across the globe.
We believe that digital storytelling should help people discover what issues are most important to them, enabling them to understand their present and shape their future. For this reason, we are exploring new technologies and collaborations, and invite major international broadcasters to join in distribution partnerships that offer a full range of programming. We welcome innovative ideas in the form of co-productions, new genres or formats that will enable us to diversify our audience.
UN Video currently produces two television series throughout the year:
21st Century, a monthly 30-minute video magazine featuring human-interest stories from the field.
UN in Action, the series of short features on the work of the United Nations in the field.
Short video stories for web and social platforms highlight the organization’s activities and initiatives throughout the year, providing excellent overviews of events that matter most to the international community.
