In the struggle against the Ebola virus in North Kivu, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, a wide array of specialists and volunteers ensure that Ebola patients get the care and information they need as well as the vaccine if they are eligible. The World Health Organization, WHO, has been strongly involved in the response to the epidemic since it started in August 2018, as part of the action organised by the Ministry of Health of the DRC with many local and international partners.
