The UN is launching a new seat – The People’s Seat – that will give everyone a seat at the table at COP24, the UN Climate Change Conference happening this December.
The People’s Seat will allow peopleto “virtually sit” and share their views alongside leaders, governments and representative organizations at the UN Climate Change Conference COP24, December 2-14.
On December 3rd, Governments will meet to address the defining issue of our time, climate change. For the first time, you will be able to “virtually sit” and share your views alongside leaders, governments and representative organizations at the UN Climate Change Conference COP24.
In ‘taking a seat’, people from around the world have a unique opportunity to have their voices heard and views included in the People’s Address. The People’s Address will be shaped by thousands of people from around the world who use the hashtag #TakeYourSeat to join the conversation on climate change and who contribute by sharing the campaign online.
What would you say if you had a seat at the UN Climate Change Conference? Share your comments, videos and photos with #TakeYourSeat to have your say at #COP24
